Type Selfie

For this project, I decided to draw inspiration from my younger sister, whom I found on my phone in one of her photos wearing traditional regalia. She was on her way to a New Year's dance. For the pose, I wanted to capture her as if she was dancing. To make the drawing more meaningful, I added the lyrics of some female round dance songs that I hand-drew myself. I was initially unsure about the colour palette I wanted to use, but I ultimately decided to stick to one colour with different shades of the same colour.
